MARN, Inc. (www.marninc.com) is a manufacturers sales representative firm. Our sales territory is New England, Long Island, and lower NY. As a part-time job, this position can be hourly/working from home/remote (~20 hours/week).
We are looking for an inside salesperson to follow up on accounts and prospects. This would include writing email correspondence to stay in touch with prospects and customers asking for RFQs, and following up on RFQs pending, etc. Solid communication skills - writing (grammar, punctuation, substance) is essential. Good phone skills and confidence to make phone calls could be really helpful. Being able to use email platforms for email distribution is also helpful as is having some familiarity with the use of a CRM.
The job position will include extensive training and a learning curve (which is perfectly okay - we have nine manufacturing lines - it will take some time to learn how we do business and how to follow up, etc).
Depending on geographic location, growth potential could include outside sales/in-person meetings/trade show attendance (1 per year).
