Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using RedBalloon.work.RedBalloon.work reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.America was founded on the core principles of individual freedom, and the personal responsibility necessary to maintain that freedom. These central ideas are critical for ensuring that businesses, bosses, and employees have the autonomy to innovate effectively and receive the deep satisfaction that comes from work well done. Politics have gradually crept into America’s labor market, slowing everyone down and sapping the joy out of work. We believe that America can return to a joyful, hard-working labor market if employers like you take a stand and uphold this commitment:By registering for RedBalloon’s Job Board and/or Recruiting services, you as an employer commit to neither discriminate against your employees’ personal beliefs, infringe on their constitutional rights, or invade their medical privacy. Thank you for standing for freedom - for your business, for your employees, and for America.RedBalloon.work provides a service to bring Job Seekers and Employers together. Job Seekers and Employers can register, create profiles/job posts and search for jobs and resumes.RedBalloon expects the employers that use our services and the jobs they share to reflect RedBalloon’s mission and to provide value to job seekers. To that end:- All job postings must be for legitimate and actual job opportunities --- e.g., no advertisements disguised as a job opportunity, no illegal pyramid schemes, etc.
- Employers must sign RedBalloon’s pledge --- to not (1) discriminate against employees& personal beliefs, (2) infringe on their constitutional rights, (3) nor invade their medical privacy.
- If you are uncertain whether your business or job posting can meet our pledge, please contact our Customer Support team ([email protected]).
- Job postings should clearly communicate the necessary details regarding the job position. This means:
- Postings should be properly categorized by job type and pay structure (e.g., commission only, salary, hourly, etc.). For example, if the employer is paying a base wage and the employee will also receive tips or bonuses, that is categorized as “Salary/Hourly”. By way of another example, if the compensation only includes commissions, that is categorized in the “Commission Only” category.
- Job titles should only include the name of the job, not descriptors of the job or phrases. By way of example, an appropriate job title would be “Sales Agent” and “Patriot Sales Agent Work From Home” is not an appropriate job title.
- Job titles should not be in all caps or include symbols. Jobseekers repeatedly flag these kinds of titles as spam.
- Job descriptions must clearly communicate the day-to-day job duties expected of the position. Our research confirms that job seekers find vague posts misleading which negatively affects application rates.
- Employers should avoid spam tactics.
- Job postings may not solicit services or include an advertisement unrelated to the available job position.
- Employers are allowed one job posting per open position. Specifically, this means:
- An Employer should not post identical job postings in different locations if the position is work from home or remote. Instead, the Employer is encouraged to post one universal posting for the position (if remote). Our algorithm will allow jobseekers to search for these in any location search.
- Positions that are remote or can be performed from home should be marked remote and location listed at their company headquarters or more broadly “United States”.
- If a company has two business locations, and they are hiring a receptionist at both locations, they may have one posting for each receptionist per location.
- Employers may post an evergreen position, if, for example, you are always hiring software engineers. However, this must be reflective of an actual open position and the posting should be taken down if, for any reason, you can no longer hire for the position.
