The aplicant will be responsible for driving to the jobsite and setting up, maintaining, and operating semi-automatic welding equipment in a quarry environment.  Welding experiance is not a must.  Part of the job does include doing some welding repair by hand, this repair work will be included in training.

Hiring a mechanically inclined individual who is not afraid of work, local travel, or full time pay for a
part time job with a lot of time off. Good career opportunity for an independent individual who does
not need anyone looking over their shoulder. An extra gig for the self employed.
Work is throughout the Northwest. Primarily in central Washington, into Oregon, and Idaho. In that
order. Base location outside of Lewiston Idaho.

Class A or B CDL or will have it within three months.
21 years of age or older.
No drug use, including the legal stuff in Washington.
Ability to lift 80 pounds.
Work is out of the back of a mid-range truck with living quarters, it can be hot and cold as it is service
work in rock quarries.
Safety is a priority, in the nearly forty year history of the business we have never had an on the job
injury or vehicle crash.
Attention to detail is a must.


Skill Set:

Mechanical aptitude.
Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Basic welding knowledge or a willingness to learn.
On the job, paid training.
Upgrade of CDL using company vehicle.



Friday to Monday
On call.

A low average of 20 jobs a year.
By Thursday afternoon you will know if there is a job or not.


60c per mile
Pay is per pound of welding wire applied. Increased upon completion of training and more responsabilities.
