Synergy Family Physicians is a privately owned holistic family medicine clinic with and emphasis on prevention and wellness. Our clinic offers Holistic Family Medicine for infants, children, and adults. We utilize both conventional and alternative medicine and strive to bridge the gap between these two forms of healthcare. Our team consits of family medicine providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff.

We are looking for a certified medical assistant to work in a variety of areas within our clinic. This individual will provide direct patient care and assist providers as instructed. Also will assist with with front desk such as scheduling appointments and breaks. This is a full time postion (40 hours per week), compensation based on experience. We offer PTO, 401K, Medical/Dental insurance, paid holidays and no weekends. Preferred candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience, but not necessary.

Full Job Description

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide direct patient care support and assist provider as instructed
  • Room patients, take vitals, and brief medical histories
  • Perform hearing & vision screenings and other tasks related to annual/sports physicals; such as immunization administration and lead testing
  • Perform on-site lab procedures (strep & flu tests, COVID, urinalysis, ect.)
  • Assist providers in prerforming procedures
  • Maintain patient clinical records
  • Reception/Front desk support
  • Perform related work as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program
  • Current Medical Assistant certification preferred
  • Previous clinic experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and work with a flucuation in workload
  • Proficient at usinf computer programs
  • Demonstrate focus on customer service/patient service with every action
  • Ability to work as an effective team memeber to provide exceptional care
  • Ability to embrace change
  • Ability to work independently and  demonstrate critical thinking skills and engage in ongoing process improvement
