Position Summary:

The Product Development Engineering Intern will support the seats product development engineering team with a focus on new product development (NPD) and current product development (CPD) projects. As the individual grows within the position their responsibilities and opportunities will grow accordingly.

Responsibilities: 

• Support current project activity through lab testing and design activity as assigned by mentor.
• Assist in new product development, innovation exploration, current product support, and lab improvements. 
• Gain experience in using the Bemis design tools, familiarity with Bemis manufacturing processes, and overall product design methodology. 
• Support seats department in improving and/or updating documentation, reference library, procedures, lab organization. 

Skills/Requirements: 

• Pursing Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Willingness to take manageable risks & make recommendations in the interest of growing a technology.
