Job Summary
Overview
As a Plastics Set up you will be responsible for removing and installing injection molds and equipment setups & changeovers of electric and hydraulic plastic injection molding machines.
Responsibilities
Hours: Friday through Sunday, 6am-6pm
*Get paid for 40*
- Set-up, install, adjust, repair, test, calibrate, and may operate production line machinery.
- Troubleshoot machinery and equipment as needed.
- Remove molds from press after completion of run
- Perform machine adjustments within allowable parameters
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Identify improvement ideas and making recommendations
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous set-up experience in a plastics manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot injection molding process issues.
- Strong knowledge of the plastic injection molding processes
