Skillforce Inc. is hiring experienced Structural Steel Journeymen for commercial construction projects in Appleton, Green Bay, Madison, and Milwaukee, WI. Candidates should have at least 2 years of structural steel erection and/or pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) experience, including structural connections, bolt-up, and metal building installation.

Pay: $25–$35/hour, based on experience and skill level.

Structural Steel Journeyman Responsibilities

• Erect and assemble structural steel and pre-engineered metal building systems
• Set and connect columns, beams, rafters, girders, and purlins
• Perform structural steel bolt-up and connections
• Install metal roofing, siding, wall panels, insulation, and trim
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction specifications
• Measure, align, level, and secure structural components
• Assist with rigging, signaling, and material positioning
• Operate aerial lifts and other construction equipment as qualified
• Follow fall protection and jobsite safety procedures

Structural Steel Journeyman Qualifications

• 2+ years of structural steel erection, ironwork, or PEMB experience
• Experience with structural steel connections and bolt-up
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Aerial lift certification preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Required PPE and basic hand tools
