Job Summary
D2 Government Solutions is seeking an IOTA Senior Designer for the Department of Veterans Affairs warehouse initial outfitting, transition and activation (IOTA) project in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate interior design, room layouts and FF&E selections with the VA regional interior designer, users and the construction/design team.
- Prepare FF&E and artwork cut sheets, room-by-room equipment/furniture lists, artwork plans and space layouts.
- Produce and revise FF&E floor plans and 3D room renditions in Revit
- Check selections to fit with building plans
- Maintain FF&E selections, space information, cost estimates and deliverables
- Support furniture reuse and disposal planning
Qualifications
- Experience in facility design.
- ACTIVE National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification required.
- Experience with administrative operations and with furniture, fixtures, casework/case goods and signage.
- Ability to translate requirements into design, construction and installation documents.
- A Senior Designer certificate must also be submitted separately.
