Harvia US continues to grow, and we are excited to expand our finance team with the addition of a Financial Controller. This position is based in our Lewisburg, WV office, with the opportunity for 1–2 days of remote work per week following the onboarding and training period.
In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the company’s financial operations while also providing leadership and oversight to a team of three accounting professionals. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Leadership & Oversight
· Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to a team of three accountants
· Review team output to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
· Assist in prioritizing workload and delegating responsibilities across the team
· Support training, development, and performance feedback for accounting staff
· Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment
Accounting & Financial Operations
· Oversee and support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
· Support cost accounting and inventory-related financial analysis
· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
· Maintain and reconcile fixed assets within the accounting system
· Support period-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
· Assist with sales tax compliance in collaboration with third-party partners
· Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
· Identify process improvement opportunities and help strengthen internal controls
- Progressive experience in accounting, finance, or auditing •5 - 7 years
- Experience leading or mentoring accounting staff•3 - 5 years
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations strongly preferred
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Strong understanding of financial statements and GAAP principles
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Progress toward CPA certification
