Want to learn more about fundraising, donor relations, and what it takes to keep the lights on at a non-profit?Development interns will gain valuable experience in fundraising, event preparation and planning, and database administration. In addition, they will learn to use the Media Research Center’s sophisticated database of supporters and get extensive training in how nonprofits keep their programs functioning.The Development department at MRC looks for interns that are:Up to date on current eventsSelf-startersOrganizedHave good time management skillsInterested in non-profit managementThis internship is designed for conservative-minded students and recent graduates. We hire interns during three semesters (Fall, Spring, Summer). The current application is for our Summer internship program. Our internship for the Summer session begins on May 19th, 2026 and runs through August 7th, 2026.To apply please submit a resume, cover letter, and 3 writing samples. We do this through analysis and research (NewsBusters), blogs and video (MRCTV), and a complex grassroots and marketing initiative.
