Job Summary
Social Media & Content Coordinator
NOVA Plastic Surgery & Dermatology | Ashburn & Tysons, VA | Full-time, onsite | $25/hr + weekly bonus on content created and posted
Make beautiful results impossible to scroll past.
At NOVA, every patient's transformation is a story worth telling, told with taste. We're looking for a content creator with a photographer's eye and a storyteller's instinct to own how NOVA looks and sounds online. You'll turn real results into elegant, high-end content that builds trust and brings new patients through our doors.
This is a full-time, onsite role covering all three of our Northern Virginia locations: NOVA Plastic Surgery (Ashburn), SkinLab (Ashburn), and The Boro (Tysons). You'll work with board-certified plastic surgeons, PAs, and aestheticians, and report to our Director of Marketing.
What you'll own
- Before-and-afters. Personally shoot before-and-afters for our biggest transformations. Our patient-care team captures the rest; you collect everything, edit it to a consistent, polished standard, organize it, and publish it to social media and our website gallery.
- All video. Film every video NOVA produces, from treatments and patient stories to the operating room, following sterile-field and surgical team protocols.
- High-end content. Photograph and film our events, team outings, products, providers, and the patient experience, with lighting, framing, and motion that feel premium.
- Storytelling. Turn treatments, results, and the people behind them into stories that educate, inspire, and convert.
- Social media. Plan, post, and manage a content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and our website. Stay ahead of trends and adapt them in a way that fits NOVA's brand. Post stories, Reels and post (create posts using AI by input from providers)
- Leading on set. Direct providers and team members in front of the camera and coach them on capturing great before-and-afters, so content is consistent across all three locations.
- AI-powered editing. Use modern AI editing tools to produce more, faster, without lowering quality.
- Privacy and consent. Make sure every patient image and video has documented consent and is handled to HIPAA standards.
Who you are
- 3–5 years of professional experience in photography, videography, and editing, ideally in aesthetics, beauty, fashion, luxury, or hospitality
- A portfolio is required. Include links to Instagram, TikTok, or other content you've created. Applications without a portfolio won't be considered.
- Strong command of lighting, composition, shot selection, and zoom for both photo and video
- Fluent in editing tools, including AI-powered photo and video editing
- Skilled at organizing large image and video libraries so nothing gets lost
- An elegant eye and a natural storyteller who knows what makes content feel premium
- Current on social trends, formats, and platform algorithms
- Confident directing others, from surgeons to team members, to get the shot
- Comfortable in a clinical and operating room setting
- Organized, self-directed, and able to travel between our three locations
What's in it for you
- $25/hour plus a bonus on content created and posted
- Health benefits, 401(k), and paid time off
- Complimentary treatments and discounts on treatments and skincare
- Creative ownership of a respected brand's visual identity
- A team built on empathy, ownership, continuous growth, coachability, and adaptability
To apply: send your resume and portfolio links, plus one piece of content you're proudest of and the story behind it.
