The Grand America Hotel is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Seasonal Servers and Bussers to join our team for our annual Breakfast with Santa event.

Event Dates:

• November 27 (set up and training)

• November 28

• December 5, 12, 18, 19, 21, and 22

Position Type: Seasonal / Part-Time
Availability: Must be available for all scheduled shifts, primarily weekend mornings during the dates listed above

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and provide attentive, professional service throughout their dining experience.

• Monitor buffet stations, ensuring food levels, cleanliness, and presentation meet hotel standards.

• Serve beverages and clear plates in a timely and courteous manner.

• Assist with setup, restocking, and cleanup before and after each shift.

• Ensure guest satisfaction and provide assistance to families and children as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly in English.

• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or banquet service preferred.

• Friendly, professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and a positive attitude.

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

• Must be available for all Breakfast with Santa event dates listed above.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift).

• Ability to lift, carry, and transport trays, dishes, and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.

• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting during setup, service, and cleanup.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and moving safely in crowded spaces.

• Must adhere to all hotel safety and grooming standards.
