Job Summary
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual preferred. Excellent communication skills. 1 year experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare environment. Strong computer skills, able to perform work duties professionally during stressful situations. Knowledge of telephones, inputting data into computer, balancing figures, and compiling statistics. Strong organizational skills.
Job Description: Responsible for registering patients, receiving incoming telephone calls in a prompt, courteous and professional manner. Greet customers and provide them with excellent customer service. Collect copays, deductibles and post payments. Verifying insurances eligibility and benefits, register patients while verifying all demographics. Will have to perform clerical work, scanning, faxing, making copies, and computer documentation. Responsible for entering messages, scheduling appointments and assisting the patient in solving patient requests.
