We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Aide (Warehouse) at our Houston bakery and are offering weekly pay! Starting at $18.00 per hour. Full-time and part-time opportunities. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this hands-on role supports warehouse receiving, light equipment and facility maintenance, sanitation breakdowns, and inventory control while helping keep our bakery safe and organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving deliveries, verifying shipments, and organizing warehouse materials.

• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and facility infrastructure as directed.

• Support sanitation teams with equipment disassembly and breakdowns for deep cleaning.

• Track inventory, assist with stock counts, and maintain accurate materials records.

• Safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts after required training and authorization.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety procedures, and workplace safety policies.

• Maintain orderly work areas and complete other tasks assigned by the lead or Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with general maintenance procedures.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or on a team.

• Ability to use basic tools and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Forklift certification or ability to complete required training and obtain authorization.

• Warehouse, maintenance, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

• Manual dexterity and coordination to handle tools and equipment.

• Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and occasionally climb ladders or reach overhead.

Work Environment

• Commercial bakery and warehouse environment with machinery, moving equipment, noise, varying temperatures, and cleaning chemicals.

• Work may take place on the production floor, doughnut line, oven department, sanitation areas, and washroom facilities.
