The Driver Recruiter plays a critical role in our recruiting process by working directly with driver applicants, screening candidates, coordinating onboarding activities, and ensuring drivers meet company and regulatory requirements. This position works closely with Operations, Safety, and Recruiting leadership to maintain a steady pipeline of qualified drivers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and process driver applications.

• Communicate with applicants to obtain required hiring documentation.

• Screen candidates to ensure they meet company hiring standards.

• Work closely with the Safety Department regarding driver qualifications and compliance requirements.

• Coordinate hotel accommodations and transportation for orientation attendees.

• Answer incoming recruiting calls and respond to applicant inquiries.

• Create and maintain job advertisements on Indeed and other recruiting platforms.

• Follow up with terminal managers regarding hiring needs and recruiting priorities.

• Communicate orientation schedules and upcoming hires to management.

• Maintain accurate recruiting records and applicant tracking information.
