High School TeacherFaith Lutheran High School of Central Texas
We're seeking Christian teachers for history, English, music, and Spanish at our private Lutheran high school in Central Texas. Depending on the subject, the commitment is 2-3 days each week. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and assisting with the incorporation of a Christian worldview into student curriculum and learning. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a patient approach to working with high school students. You'll play a vital role in shaping young minds and fostering an environment where students thrive spiritually, academically, and personally, becoming the faithful Christian leaders of tomorrow.
Key but not all:
Seek to speak and abide by the Word of God in all things.
Assist in planning, designing, organizing, analyzing, and modifying curriculum to reinforce a Christian worldview for students.
Be in attendance of regularly scheduled faculty and staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and devotions.
Maintain attendance records for students and academic success through progress reports and grade cards.
Participate in parent-teacher conferences.
Demonstrate basic technology skills and maintain a well-managed classroom.
Commitment to Jesus Christ and His Gospel.
Understanding that Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod doctrine is the basis for school.
Academic degree, teaching certificate, and/or life experience qualified.
Accountable for all aspects of classroom operations, consistent with school's policies & procedures.
