Assistant SuperintendentCollier Construction

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing day-to-day on-site construction activities
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow
• Monitor project schedules and report progress to the Superintendent
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct site inspections to maintain quality control and adherence to project specifications
• Assist in resolving on-site issues and conflicts to prevent delays
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, logs, and inspections
• Support enforcement of safety programs, including toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Communicate effectively with the project team, including engineers, architects, and clients
• Assist in ensuring site cleanliness, organization, and compliance with OSHA regulations
• Monitor materials and equipment deliveries to prevent delays

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus)
• 2+ years of experience in construction, field supervision, or a related role
• Familiarity with construction processes, materials, and safety standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Work Environment:

• Primarily on-site work at construction projects
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction-related hazards
• Requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting materials
