Development DirectorTexas Values

Texas Values, a statewide advocacy organization advancing faith, family, and religious liberty values, is seeking a Development Director to lead fundraising efforts and donor relations. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of major donors, oversee the development team, and drive strategy to meet annual fundraising goals through grant writing, donor communications, and special events. This role requires 3+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience and a proven record of securing major gifts.

• Implement and execute annual fundraising plan to meet fundraising goals

• Meet regularly with and manage portfolio of higher-level donors

• Provide leadership to development team

• Prepare and present regular reports on progress towards fundraising goals

• Assist in planning and execution for fundraising related special events

• Assist in grant writing and identification of new grant opportunities

• Generate donor communications, newsletters, and annual report

• Network and maintain regular correspondence with key donors

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree

• Minimum three (3) years of nonprofit fundraising experience

• Previous management experience a plus

• Proven track record of meeting fundraising goals and securing major gifts
