General Job Description

The AV Field Engineer I will be able to install and operate most types of AV systems and equipment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex AV system issues.
• Program, configure, and commission AV control systems, DSPs, audio, and video platforms.
• Read technical drawings and create shop drawings and project submittals.
• Provide technical leadership and support for installation teams and project managers.
• Configure networked AV devices and coordinate with IT teams.
• Perform system testing, quality checks, punch list management, and project closeout support.
• Support customer demonstrations, project execution, and other assigned responsibilities.

Specific Qualifications

English language proficiency, including the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English, is required. This is based on the requirement to communicate directly with customer(s) and other employees, to complete regular reporting both to management and to the customer, and to promote safety and efficient communication in the case of emergencies
