Job Description

The Senior Estimator will report to executive preconstruction leadership and be responsible for developing conceptual through final estimates for commercial construction projects.

• Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, and final project estimates
• Lead quantity takeoffs, scope reviews, and bid package development
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks
• Collaborate with operations teams during handoff and project planning
• Participate in client presentations and preconstruction meetings
• Support business development efforts by delivering competitive, accurate proposals

The Successful Applicant

For the Senior Estimator we are seeking:

• 7+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction
• Experience pricing commercial, industrial, institutional, or manufacturing projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost controls
• Experience leading estimates through multiple stages of design
• Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software such as Sage Estimating, ProEst, Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Experience with design-build and construction management delivery methods is preferred
• Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor junior estimating professionals
