Job Description

• Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to define the scope of work.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor work.
• Request, review, and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing for complete bid coverage.
• Identify cost drivers, bid assumptions, and scope gaps to support accurate pricing decisions.
• Develop bid proposals that clearly reflect project requirements and estimate details.
• Coordinate with Construction team members to confirm project scope and pricing inputs.
• Update estimates as project documents, quantities, or pricing information change.
• Maintain organized estimating records to support bid reviews and future project planning.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Estimator should have:

• Experience preparing detailed construction cost estimates.
• Experience with commercial projects exceeding $20M+ in value.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and project bid documents.
• Ability to assess labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Experience gathering and comparing supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Ability to identify scope gaps, assumptions, and cost risks within estimates.
• Experience preparing clear bid proposals and estimate documentation.
