About the role

Living Hope Community Church is looking for a Student Ministries Director for our Dublin campus. You’ll build genuine relationships with students and their families, recruit and develop volunteer leaders, and help students become followers of Jesus who make followers of Jesus.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and disciple students in grades 6 through 12 through Sunday morning groups, Wednesday night middle school groups, Sunday night high school groups, large-group gatherings, and small groups
  • Build personal connections with students and leaders, coordinate weekly ministry meetings, speak as scheduled, and plan activities and events
  • Partner with parents to keep communication clear, warm, and effective
  • Plan and lead mission trips and our three main annual student retreats, locally and cross-culturally
  • Recruit, train, and encourage volunteer leaders, and lead effectively through others
  • Collaborate with our Children’s and Young Adult ministries to support students as they grow
  • Reach the unchurched and serve Dublin, Perkasie, and the surrounding towns
  • Help align culture, values, content, and training for student ministry across campuses
  • Invest in students outside of scheduled ministry, and help with Sunday service responsibilities

What we’re looking for

  • A growing follower of Jesus with a genuine love for students and a heart for outreach and discipleship
  • Leadership experience in student, youth, or related ministry (paid or volunteer)
  • Strong relational, communication, and organizational skills
  • Able to recruit, lead, and develop volunteers
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent ministry experience preferred
  • Agrees with Living Hope’s Vision, Mission, Values, and Guiding Principles, and will follow the Employee Handbook and church Constitution
  • Attends staff and campus meetings

Schedule

  • 40 hours per week
  • Regular evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays, with scheduling adjusted to ministry needs

Work environment

Mostly office work, plus active ministry settings like setting up and running games, team experiences, retreats, and mission trips. The role involves long stretches of sitting, standing, and walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds. You’ll need your own transportation between campuses when necessary.

Benefits

  • 3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) to start
  • Health and dental insurance (employee premium covered by employer)
  • Disability insurance
  • 403(b) retirement plan with up to 5% employer contribution
