Job Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects in the Property industry.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine costs.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting.
• Identify and evaluate potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide input on project schedules and timelines based on cost analysis.
• Maintain up-to-date records of estimates and project budgets.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing information.
• Support the Construction department in decision-making with precise data and analysis.

The Successful Applicant

• Direct estimating experience within commercial carpentry/interiors construction
• Experience estimating:
  • Division 05400-COLD FORM METAL FRAMING
  • Division 07200-THERMAL AND MOISTURE PROTECTION
  • Division 09200-PLASTER AND GYPSUM BOARD
  • Division 09500-ACOUSTIC CEILINGS/SPECIALITY CEILINGS
  • Commercial drywall
  • Commercial ceilings
  • Framing
  • Finishing
• Hands-on experience with estimating software such as OST/Quick Bid, BuzzBid, or similar
• Commercial construction estimating background is required
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Bachelor's degree in an industry-related field, such as construction management or building science preferred
• Ability to work 100% onsite, Monday-Friday (no hybrid or remote)
