Broadcast TechnicianFinancial Issues
The Broadcast Production Specialist is responsible for the daily production and execution of Financial Issues Live, Stewardship Today, podcasts, interviews, and other video and audio content produced by Financial Issues Stewardship Ministries.
This position owns the daily production experience audiences see and hear, including studio readiness, audio, video, graphics, editing, automation, and content delivery. Working closely with the Broadcast & Technology Manager, this position continually seeks ways to improve the listener and viewer experience through stronger production quality, creative visuals, efficient workflows, and thoughtful attention to detail while serving as the primary operator of the ministry's live production systems.
Live Production
Prepare the studio, control room, audio, video, graphics, lighting, media, and communications for each production.
Operate TriCaster, vMix, NDI, cameras, playback, graphics, and other live production systems.
Coordinate with hosts, guests, and staff to ensure programs begin on time and run smoothly.
Monitor outgoing television, radio, streaming, website, mobile app, and podcast feeds.
Maintain professional pacing, camera composition, transitions, graphics, and overall production quality.
Respond immediately to production issues and escalate system-level problems to the
Technology & Broadcast Manager.
Audio, Video & Graphics
Operate Waves eMotion LV1, Wheatstone, Comrex, and related audio equipment.
Maintain clear, balanced, distortion-free audio across hosts, guests, videos, music, and remote contributors.
Configure and operate cameras, lighting, Blackmagic Design devices, and visual production equipment.
Create and update lower thirds, B-roll packages, slides, charts, transitions, and other broadcast graphics.
Automation & Distribution
Operate ENCO MOM/DAD for daily radio recording, playback, scheduling, and automation.
Operate Softron OnTheAir Video for daily television scheduling, playback, and automation.
Prepare, verify, schedule, and publish content for television, radio, podcasts, FinancialIssues.org, BoxCast, MobiLoud, YouTube, and social media.
Monitor automated content and confirm that programs and commercials air as scheduled.
Editing & Content Production
Edit and export daily, weekly, and special programming.
Prepare show titles, descriptions, metadata, thumbnails, filenames, and supporting materials, ensuring the finished product is optimized for SEO and visual engagement on all platforms.
Create highlights, short-form videos, interviews, promotional content, and campaign media.
Collaborate with marketing and social media staff to adapt programming for digital platforms.
Maintain organized editing projects, graphics, recordings, exports, and archived media.
Studio Operations & Reporting
Keep the studio, control room, equipment, cables, and production spaces clean, organized, and ready.
Perform first-line troubleshooting and communicate equipment or repair needs.
Assist with special events, remote productions, interviews, campaigns, and fundraising initiatives.
Recommend improvements to production quality, workflows, pacing, and organization.
Demonstrated Christian faith and alignment with FISM’s mission and statement of faith.
Experience in television, radio, podcasting, live production, or digital media.
Familiarity with TriCaster, vMix, ENCO MOM/DAD, Softron OnTheAir Video, NDI, and related systems.
Knowledge of audio mixing, cameras, lighting, graphics, switching, streaming, editing, and media distribution.
Proficiency with video and audio editing software.
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Proven creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and remain calm during live productions.
Dependable, servant-minded, flexible, and able to work independently and collaboratively

$40,000 - $45,000 per year commensurate with experience and skill set
