Job Summary
Position: Die Setter
Reports to: Production Manager
Location: 2345 S. Byrne Road, Toledo, OH
Rate of Pay: $24.12 per hour
Job Duties and Responsibilities (including, but are not limited to):
- Install and align dies correctly to prepare presses for production.
- Ensure all safety devices are set and functioning prior to operation.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on equipment.
- Operate equipment and produce parts as needed to support production.
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), climb, and stand for extended periods.
- Physical activity may include stooping, crawling, and moving heavy objects.
- Must be available to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
- Experience in the setup and troubleshooting stamping dies and presses.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic math skills including measurement in inches, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
- Valid forklift operator’s license (or ability to obtain one through company certification).
