Job Summary
Description
The Volunteer Group provides time, talent and leadership to carry out the mission of Axess Family Services.
Responsibilities dependent upon the program assignment and may include but not limited to:
- Prepare and/or serving meals
- Clean kitchens, facilities, vacant shelter/housing units
- Stock food pantries and other supplies
- Outdoor beautification projects
- Paint the facilities, shelters
- Assist with organizing/managing donations
- Assist with special events
- Organize a donation drive or fundraiser for the organization/program
- Entertain (play piano, etc.)
- Teach a craft/skill
- Teach financial literacy
Requirements
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS: (based on program requirements)
- Ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals.
- Ability to work as an effective team.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
