Summitville Laboratories – General Shale, Inc., Minerva, OH

Summitville Laboratories, a division of General Shale, Inc., the nation’s leading manufacturer of brick, masonry siding, and outdoor hardscape products, is seeking a Plant Administrator for our grout and mortars manufacturing facility in Minerva, OH.

The Plant Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of the manufacturing facility. This position plays an important role in purchasing, production planning, inventory management, payroll reporting, human resources administration, safety support, and maintaining company procedures and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support purchasing and procurement activities for the plant.
• Assist with production planning and scheduling.
• Manage inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Provide payroll reporting and administrative support.
• Support human resources and employee-related administrative processes.
• Assist with plant safety activities and documentation.
• Maintain company procedures, records, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve administrative and operational processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in an office, manufacturing, or plant operations environment.
• Manufacturing or plant operations experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
• SAP or other ERP experience preferred, but not required.
