Position: School Development Coordinator

Hours: Part-time Flexible hours

Summary: The School Development Coordinator will report to the Director of Stewardship and will be responsible for meeting with and educating key members in our school communities on the opportunity of Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO). When not working on SGO, they will work to support stewardship efforts of development events (Galas, PTO, etc.) by working to thank donors and volunteers, while reaching out to local businesses as well.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, EXPECTATIONS:

· Strong work ethic and servant-leadership mindset

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships in school community, able to teach and handle questions that may arise.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write, edit, and proofread with accuracy.

· Reliable, with strong time-management skills to:

o Schedule hours the week before

o Set meetings with people who have a wide range of available times.

· Proficiency with:

o Microsoft Office Suite

o Canva

Education, Training, and Experience:

· College degree or seeking a degree preferred.

· Experience working with people.

Working Environment

· The employee works onsite in office with other staff and regularly meets with the Director of Stewardship

· Normal work week is 18 hours; it will require some evening and weekend work for events/meetings but is flexible.

· Must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Other:

· Active member of the Catholic Church preferred.
