Job Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and timelines.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project scope.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate estimates align with project goals.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities within project estimates.
- Maintain and update cost databases to ensure accurate and current pricing information.
- Prepare bid proposals and present them to stakeholders as required.
- Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costs and budgets to ensure compliance with estimates.

The Successful Applicant
- Experience with preparing cost estimates for construction projects.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market costs.
- Proficiency in relevant estimating software and tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
