Job Description
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and budgets.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure cost efficiency.
- Maintain and update a database of construction costs for future reference.
- Prepare and present comprehensive bid packages for approval.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering options.
- Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
- Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and labor rates.

The Successful Applicant
- Experience with preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
- Proficiency in relevant estimating software and tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with clients and teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in cost analysis.
