Job Summary
Fleet Maintenance Coordinator II
Ensure Corporate Fleet Vehicles, driven by our clients, are maintained and repaired timely and in a cost effective manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives incoming calls from Fleet Vendors or service facilities to grant authorization to repair fleet vehicles
- Approve short term rental of vehicle during the time the company vehicle is in service.
- Answers customer phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Issues vehicle repair purchase orders for Fleet Maintenance customers.
- Investigates and negotiates prices on purchase order requests pertaining to parts, labor, and rental cars etc. for best available pricing.
- Submits any repair claims, which might be covered by manufacturer warranty.
- Coordinate glass replacement
- Emergency road service liaison between customer and vendor
- Pays repair vendors.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers (internal & external) and vendors.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Three years of experience in vehicle repair industry
- Preference for graduation from Vehicle Technician program
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- ASE certification required
- After training will work a hybrid schedule (two days work from home) and rotating schedule to that includes Saturdays.
- Possess understanding of mechanical repair work costs
- Ability to analyze situation on a case by case basis and make decisions accordingly
- Ability to understand and research materials in electronic repair manuals
- Good verbal communication skills in order to interact with internal and external customers and repair shops.
- Excellent customer service and time management skills.
- Good attention to detail
- Strong Computer skills and working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
