Part-Time Mill Operator (Evenings)

Celina Feed Facility | 8-12 Hours Per Week

Mercer Landmark is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Mill Operator to join our team at our Celina feed facility. This evening position offers 8-12 hours per week and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating equipment, and contributing to the production of quality livestock feed.

Position Summary

The Mill Operator assists with daily feed manufacturing operations, including producing feed, loading and unloading ingredients, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate WEM automation systems to manufacture high-quality livestock feed.
• Assist with feed production and mill operations.
• Load feed trucks and unload incoming ingredients.
• Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform routine housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized facility.
• Work both inside and outside the facility in varying weather conditions.
• Follow all company safety procedures and promote a culture of safety.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to our patrons.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong verbal communication skills and basic reading comprehension.
• Ability to follow instructions and safely perform manual labor.
• Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Forklift experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, walk, stand, and perform physical work for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agricultural environment and understand the seasonal demands of the feed industry.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
