The Floor Scale Assembler is responsible for accurately completing assembly functions and quality product assembly utilizing production supporting documentation; including but not limited to production orders, standard work, blueprints and other documents related to the assembly of products all while accurately entering data into the ERP (e.g. SAP) system and ensure that the orders are assembled appropriately. What you will do:Maintain accurate written records such as production orders, test sheets, shipping documentation, pack lists, and Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) sheets.Maintain stock control, pull items for orders, assemble / pack products, work in other departments, and complete other related duties as required to fulfill customer requirements.Accurately picked/pack all items in the BOM.Work from order schedules as well as from verbal and written instructions.Participate in a 5S and Lean initiatives.Apply basic computer skills involving SAP and Microsoft Office, as well as aid in accurate collection of SQDC data.Use of forklifts, pallet jacks and handcarts and use of cranes and jib hoists.Other duties may be assigned.
