Experienced Plumbing Service Technician

Ward Plumbing, Heating & Air is looking for experienced, capable Plumbing Service Technicians who know their trade, take pride in their work, and want to be rewarded for being productive.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lead Plumber or Plumbing Service Technician

• Strong diagnostic, repair, and installation skills across residential and light-commercial plumbing

• Experience with water and waste piping, fixtures, water heaters of all types, underground piping, drain cleaning, and related plumbing systems

• Professional, positive communication with customers and coworkers - taking care of people is just as important as technical ability

• Valid driver's license

• Must live within our service area of Jackson, Haywood, Macon, Swain or Buncombe Counties in Western NC, or be willing to relocate to this area.

• Comfortable using technology, including iPads, mobile applications, and modern dispatch/service software

• Eager to continue learning, improving, and earning

Pay & Benefits

• $30–$68/hour compensation range, based on performance - Avg Plumbing Technician earnings are $47.76/hr

Schedule

• Full-time

• Four ~10-hour shifts per week

• Monday–Saturday operating schedule

• Day/mid-day/evening shifts depending on assigned schedule

• Holidays off (depending on shift schedule)
