Tecta America Carolinas, a commercial roofing contractor, provides a full range of quality roofing services, including, commercial and industrial roofing, re-roofs, leak repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and 24/7 service. Tecta America Carolinas started as a small company in 1964 and has grown steadily. We are based in Charlotte, NC with a second office in South Carolina, enabling us to service both states and branch out to West Virginia and Tennessee.
We are currently seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Driver for our Indian Trails, NC location.
The Commercial Roofing Warehouse/Delivery Driver will be responsible for loading and unloading commercial roofing materials, transporting loads to job sites, and maintaining the company warehouse. This is an all encompassing role that supports overall warehouse operations and job site needs. Previous commercial roofing production experience is preferred but not required.
Job Functions:
- Operating various types of vehicles including stake body, trailers & trucks
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with route driving as required to support delivery operations
- Accept delivery of inventory
- Clean and maintain interior and exterior of warehouse
- Organize warehouse materials on an ongoing basis
- Deliver materials to jobsites
- Pick up materials from vendors
- Process paperwork for deliveries and warehouse tickets
- Support roofing crews with material prep and handling
- Forklift certification a plus
- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions
- Perform a variety of tasks in a fast‑paced, hands‑on role
- Rotate between driving, warehouse work, and assisting roofing crews
- Safely operate large vehicles, work at heights, and learn new tasks daily
Job Requirements:
- 1+ years’ experience in commercial roofing preferred
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain DOT Card
- Must be 21 + years old
- Ability to operate forklift proficiently.
- Completion of background investigation and drug screening.
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License, and a clean Driving Record
- CDL preferred not required
