  • Research, design, and implement process improvements using AI and other appropriate tools to improve activities such as software installation, monitoring, and configuration management.
  • Administer Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy, including security policy design, access management, and troubleshooting.
  • Configure and deploy servers and hardware to meet project and operational requirements.
  • Perform regular system health checks, verifying hardware integrity and server resource availability.
  • Provide escalated support for system issues and participate in on-call and after-hours support for mission-critical issues.
  • Document installation and configuration procedures to support repeatability and standardization.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 7+ years of experience as a Windows Administrator in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience patching Windows servers and managing server vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with Windows Server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Strong experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows servers and desktop operating systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Experience improving processes through automation, including the use of AI tools where appropriate.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and write clear documentation.
  • Takes full ownership of their area of responsibility and works independently to set priorities, solve problems, and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that align with business needs.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for Windows servers, including patch management and vulnerability remediation.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and after hours to support patching and vulnerability management, and to participate in on-call support for mission-critical issues.
  • Must live in AL, GA, NC, SC, TN, or VA.
