Job Description

• Coordinate daily carpentry activities across assigned construction work areas.
• Review work plans and sequence tasks to keep carpentry work on schedule.
• Assign daily tasks and provide clear direction to carpentry crews.
• Monitor completed work for alignment with project requirements and quality expectations.
• Track materials and tools needed for daily carpentry activities.
• Communicate site needs, progress, and work updates with construction team members.
• Address day-to-day work issues to maintain steady progress on site.
• Maintain an orderly work area that supports safe and productive carpentry work.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Carpentry Foreman - Manhattan should have:

• Experience coordinating carpentry work on construction projects (Drywall, acoustics, etc).
• Experience assigning work and directing daily carpentry activities.
• Ability to read work plans and organize tasks in a practical sequence.
• Knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, tools, and jobsite practices.
• Ability to monitor workmanship and address issues during construction work.
• Clear communication skills for working with carpentry crews and construction team members.
