Capital Management Services (CMS) is hiring Debt Collections Representatives in Buffalo. Start at $18 per hour and earn uncapped monthly commission based on performance. Whether you're an experienced collector or bringing customer service skills to a new role, you'll get two weeks of paid, hands-on training.

At CMS, our collections team is built for collectors, by collectors. You'll work with customers on behalf of multiple clients to find manageable ways to resolve past-due accounts.

What You'll Do

• Handle inbound and outbound calls on third-party collection accounts.

• Listen to customers, explain payment options, and help them set up manageable payment arrangements.

• Document account activity and payment commitments accurately.

• Meet performance and quality goals while following the FDCPA and applicable regulations.

What You'll Bring

• A professional phone presence and strong communication skills.

• The ability to listen, negotiate, and stay composed during sensitive conversations.

• Comfort working toward performance goals and documenting calls accurately.

Collections or call center experience is welcome. Prior collections experience isn't required.

Training & Schedule

• Start date - Monday, November 16, 2026

• Paid training - Two weeks, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

• After training - Full-time schedule with a mix of morning and afternoon shifts
