On the Line
Your day starts early on a four 10-hour shift schedule (Mon–Thu 5:00 am–3:30 pm), with possible overtime Friday (5:00 am–3:30 pm) and occasional Saturday hours (5:00 am–11:00 am). As the painter on the powder coat painting line, you’ll set up for the run, dial in the gun, and keep an eye on coverage and consistency as parts move through.
Throughout the shift, you’ll verify cure and thickness targets, catch surface issues before they become scrap, and keep the workflow moving with steady pace and excellent attendance. When something looks off, you’ll work through the cause—settings, grounding, or material flow—so the finish stays uniform and the manufacturing schedule stays on track.
