Job Description

As a Lead Superintendent - Construction - Brooklyn, you will be responsible for:

• Leading all field operations on large-scale ground-up residential developments
• Managing and mentoring Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and field staff
• Supervising subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
• Driving project schedules and ensuring milestone completion
• Coordinating site logistics, workforce planning, and material deliveries
• Ensuring compliance with NYC DOB requirements, permits, and inspections
• Maintaining project safety and enforcing OSHA standards
• Managing quality control and ensuring compliance with plans and specifications
• Coordinating with Project Managers, architects, engineers, consultants, and ownership teams
• Reviewing construction schedules, work plans, and subcontractor activities
• Managing inspections, testing, and agency approvals
• Maintaining daily reports, project logs, and documentation
• Leading punch-list completion and project closeout activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

• Active NYC DOB Superintendent License
• 8+ years of Superintendent experience in construction
• Extensive experience managing ground-up multifamily, affordable housing, or luxury multifamily developments
• Proven experience leading large-scale residential construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and scheduling
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and field teams
• Strong knowledge of NYC DOB requirements and inspections
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Procore and construction management software
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred
