About The Opportunity

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care within a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment across multiple partner locations throughout New Mexico.

This is a clinic-based role where you'll function as an extension of the clinical team within coordinated, community-focused settings serving senior populations.

  • Los Alamos
  • Grants
  • Gallup
  • Socorro
  • Truth or Consequences
  • Bayard / Silver City
  • Alamogordo

Mileage reimbursement may be available based on travel requirements.

The Setting

  • Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
  • Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
  • Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting

We emphasize:

  • Quality over volume
  • Consistency and predictability
  • Administrative and logistical support
  • Long-term clinic partnerships
  • Ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery

  • Experience treating senior populations preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
