The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Security Officer to join our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members. 3:00 pm- 11:00 pm

Pay

$20.00 - $22.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor

• Conduct cash escorts as required

• Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity

• Maintain crowd control as required

• Defuse guest profanity and handle issues or complaints professionally

More about you

• Must beat least21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED

• Must be licensed by the State Gaming Commission

• Prior law enforcement,security,or military experience preferred; hospitalityor customer service experienceis a plus

• Ability to clear a criminal background check

• Strong customer service skillsrequired

• Strong verbal communication,observation,and report writing skills

• Ability toobtainaCPR/First Aid/AED/BBPcertification

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

• Ability to communicate through a two-way radio

• Bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying occasionally

• Vision sufficient to perform duties day or night

• Exposure to an occasionally smoky and loud environment

• Exposure to large groups and bright/flashing lights
