Job Description

• Oversee daily commercial construction site activities to keep work aligned with project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams to maintain steady progress across active work areas.
• Review completed work for quality and address field issues before they affect project delivery.
• Monitor project schedules and communicate updates, changes, and site needs to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Maintain a safe jobsite by following site safety requirements and addressing unsafe conditions promptly.
• Read and apply project drawings, specifications, and work plans during construction activities.
• Document daily site progress, labor activity, deliveries, and conditions for clear project records.
• Coordinate inspections and site access to keep construction work moving forward.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Superintendent Commercial Construction' should have:

• Experience overseeing commercial construction projects from active site work through completion.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and daily field activities.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Experience tracking site progress and maintaining clear daily documentation.
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices and jobsite coordination.
• Ability to identify field issues and communicate practical next steps with project stakeholders.
