Claims Technician InternPlymouth Rock Assurance
Job Summary
In this role you will be responsible for taking first report of claim via phone, faxes and mail. Candidate will be responsible for assigning claims and explaining process to customers. You will demonstrate customer service knowledge and learn more about the auto insurance industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Explain coverage and claims process to customers.
- Assign claims to appropriate representative.
- Track claims assigned on a daily basis.
- Interact with agents, customer service and claims department.
- Answer general claim questions via phone.
- Provide excellent customer service on every call.
Qualifications:
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and enter data with strict attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Self-discipline and ability to set and carry out goals each day
- Customer Service skills

The pay range for this position is $20 an hour. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
