Location: Headquarters, 695 Atlantic Ave, Boston, MA (near South Station)
Schedule: Approximately 10–20 hours per week on site (flexible per student schedule)

Reports To: Assistant General Counsel

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated third-year law student interested in gaining practical, hands-on experience with an in-house legal team while earning academic credit through their law school program.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our legal team and Assistant General Counsel in our Boston office. The ideal candidate will be interested in developing their legal research skills while gaining exposure to the use of emerging AI tools to support and enhance legal processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on a variety of topics and legal matters.
• Assist the legal team with ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Support the exploration and use of AI tools to enhance legal research and internal legal processes.
• Gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of an in-house legal department.
• Assist with other legal and administrative projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a third-year law student (preferred)
• Eligible to receive academic credit through their law school program
• Strong legal research, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Interest in emerging technology and the use of AI within the legal profession.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
