Job Summary
Complex Casualty Claims Co-op
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and processing first party injury subrogation mail and payments
- Making outbound calls to obtain updated treatment and injury information on injured claimants
- Working inbound mail items and triaging according to set criteria
- Inputting information from different reports into the claims system
- Sending request for additional information to insureds and claimants as required
Qualifications and Education:
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and enter data with strict attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Self-discipline and ability to set and carry out goals each day
- Any prior medical background or experience is a plus
