Per Diem Outpatient Physical Therapist

Location: NovaCare in Silver Spring, MD

Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)

Compensation: $45- $55 /hour

Are you an experienced outpatient orthopedic physical therapist seeking flexible hours and a supportive team? At NOVACARE Silver Spring , we’re seeking a PRN clinician to provide as-needed coverage that aligns with your availability, perfect for someone who values work-life balance and autonomy. Coverage needs will include both our Silver Spring locations and the surrounding NovaCare outpatient centers in Montgomery County.

About the Role:

This PRN opportunity is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist with at least one (1) year of outpatient orthopedic experience . We cannot consider new graduates at this time.

You’ll treat a diverse patient population ranging from teens to older adults, with conditions spanning:

• General orthopedics

• Sports injuries

• Neurological rehabilitation

• Oncology (ReVital)

• POETs (Post-Offer Employment Testing)

• ACL rehabilitation

• Fall prevention programs

Our center operates Monday through Friday , from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM . We’re looking for a skilled clinician to support our team during peak times and cover shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional rehabilitation: evaluate, treat, direct, and document

• Stay compliant with state, local, and federal regulations

• Communicate openly with colleagues, patients, families, and physicians

• Participate in team meetings

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school

• Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice

• CPR certification
