First Baptist Church of Minden seeks a Minister of Music to provide spiritual, musical, and administrative leadership for its music ministry. This position leads meaningful, Christ-centered worship and works collaboratively with the Pastor, Executive Pastor, church staff, and ministry volunteers.Responsibilities include planning and leading weekly worship music; directing the adult sanctuary choir and orchestra; providing leadership for youth and children’s choirs; coordinating seasonal programs and special music; recruiting and equipping volunteers; supervising music ministry staff and instrumentalists; and managing the music ministry budget. The Minister of Music also encourages spiritual growth, congregational participation, and outreach through music. The position reports directly to the Executive Pastor and is accountable indirectly to the Pastor. Resumes will be accepted until November 30, 2026.
