Director or Youth Pastor Job PostingOlive Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Hanson, Kentucky Position Title: Youth Director or Youth Pastor Position Type: Part-Time Reports To: Pastor and Personnel Committee Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualifications Youth About Our Church: Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church is seeking a committed and spiritually mature individual to serve as Youth Director or Youth Pastor. This position is responsible for leading and developing a Christ-centered youth ministry that fosters spiritual growth, discipleship, fellowship, service, and outreach among young people. Primary Responsibilities • Teach biblical principles and Christian living to youth. • Prepare and lead Wednesday evening youth lessons. • Plan and conduct youth Bible studies. • Provide guidance, encouragement, and counseling to youth when needed. • Build relationships with youth, families, visitors, and prospective participants. • Recruit, train, and support volunteers, parents, and youth leaders. • Plan youth activities, camps, outreach events, and revivals. • Meet regularly with the Pastor and attend required leadership meetings. • Promote youth ministry through church communications and social media. • Ensure the safety, supervision, and confidentiality of all youth participants. Qualifications • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ. • Commitment to Missionary Baptist beliefs and values. • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to connect with and mentor youth. • Ability to pass any required background screening.
