Certified Pharmacy Tech - Inpatient Pharmacy

# Days to be Worked- 7on 7off

# Hours per Shift- 11hrs

Start Time of shift- 8:00pm

End Time of shift- 7:30am

15% Shift Differential

Special Working Needs- works weekends and holidays that fall on the 7on weeks

Job Description:

• Pharmacy Tech II is a certified pharmacy technician position who supports pharmacy services by assembling and participating in the distribution of medications. A pharmacy technician II will need certification by a nationally recognized certification board. This position will assist the department’s professional staff, under direct supervision, in numerous aspects of ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and monitoring medication use.                                     

Requirements:

• Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals), within 30 days of hire date if you are a new registrant. If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire.
• Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician.
